RAM TEAMS AGAIN TOP COACHES POLL
R.I. Track & Field Foundation
21 May – – La Salle’s track squads headed the second RIT&FF coaches poll. The Rams tallied 108 points by coaches voting in the girls’ survey. Hope moved up a notch, to second spot, with 78 points and three first-place ballots. Classical and North Kingstown were knotted in third position, 77 points apiece.
La Salle outpointed Barrington, 94-83, to lead the boys’ poll. Hendricken was in the third spot (81).
Oval Notes: Class championships will be held this Saturday . . . The final coaches poll will be held just prior to the June 6 State Championship.
