25 Oct. – – East Greenwich copped the girls’ state freshman team prize on Monday, while La Salle were victors in the boys’ event. The races were held on the new course at East Greenwich High. Adah Anderson, of Cumberland, was the individual champ, clocking 15:39 for 4 kilometers. On the boys’ side it was La Salle’s Max Dimuccio in 12:54.
