“Around the Oval’’ LA SALLE TOPS COACHES POLLS

R.I. Track & Field Foundation

     21 April – – La Salle Academy’s track forces captured the most votes in the first of three coaches polls for the outdoor season. The polls are conducted by the R.I. Track & Field Foundation. The Rams totaled 107 points and eight first-place ballots in the girls’ poll. North Kingstown and Cuberland were 2-3. The La Salle boys’ team likewise topped that survey, 117-98, over second-place Hendricken.

     The next poll will be held on 17 May.
