R.I. Track & Field Foundation
23 Dec. – – Defending boys’ and girls’ state champions La Salle Academy led the first of three coaches polls conducted by the R.I. Track & Field Foundation. The La Salle girls’ team garnered all 12 first-place votes. North Kingstown was second with 101. In the boys’ survey, the Rams collected nine first-place ballots and 206 points. Hendricken came in second with two first-place votes and 100 points.
The next RIT&FF poll will be Jan. 26.
