’24-’25 Indoor Track and Field State Banquet

The RI Track Coaches Association will be hosting an end of season banquet for the Indoor Track and Field season. This event will be a combined boys and girls banquet, celebrating all the amazing talent in our state.

  • Boys and Girls RI All State Indoor Track and Field Banquet – Tuesday March 4th
  • Rhodes on the Pawtuxet – Cranston, RI, Doors at 5:30pm, event begins at 6pm
  • This banquet will have a new format for the 24-25 season. This will be one event for both genders combined.
  • Invited athletes:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd team All State athletes
    • Coaches Award Recipients
    • All-Academic Recipients(Seniors only)
    • Team Sportsmanship Recipients
    • State Championship Meet Outstanding Performer Awards for Sprints, Distance, Jumps, Throws – selected by RITCA executive board
    • Coach of the Year Recipients
  • All coaches and athletes will be $25, cost for all other guests will be $35. State Champions are also being charged $25 for admission to the banquet this year.

All Academic Information:

  • Due to space concerns, we are only inviting Senior All Academic recipients. Coaches will receive the certificates for their juniors to distribute on their own.
  • Criteria for All Academic is to be a junior or senior with a minimum non-weighted GPA of 3.8.
  • When you submit names, include some form of verification from your school’s guidance department or a principal approving the names you submit for All Academic. This could be an email screenshot or a link to a google sheet/google doc with an approved list.

Coaches Award Information:

  • Coaches Awards are presented to one athlete for each team, coaches discretion on criteria. 
  • Submit names hereDue by Sunday February 16, 8pm.

Coach of the Year and Team Sportsmanship Information:

  • Each coach is asked to submit a vote for the Coach of the Year. Please only submit a vote for the gender you coach, unless you coach both, then submit for both.
  • Each coach is asked to submit a vote for the Team Sportsmanship Award. Reflect on a moment this season that you thought a team went above and beyond in their display of sportsmanship.

Attending the Banquet Information:

  • Head coaches should submit the form below with their attendee counts and any dietary restrictions
    • Coaches and Athletes – $25 each
    • All other Guests – $35 each
    • Food allergies/restrictions
  • Collect money from athletes/guests before you submit this number. Banquet facility requires payment on the number we submit a week ahead, not day of. No refunds are given. However, communicate by email to shorgan@nssk12.org as soon as you know someone needs to drop or you need to add. We may be able to honor a change on a first come/first serve basis, no guarantees.
  • One coach should submit payment at the doors of the facility the night of the banquet. Parents should not be attempting to pay the clerk at the door. One payment from each team please! Checks made out to RITCA.
